Born in Ontario Canada, Kenny lived there for eleven years. As an only child he was fortunate enough to travel in the summers with his Grandparents. They took him all across Canada and the U.S. Moving to Dallas Texas in 1969 Kenny grew up playing football and skating like any other kid. In high school he took every available art class there was to take, sometimes just doing independent studies for classes not available.

 After graduating he moved across town and needed to find a job close to home.  He answered an ad in the newspaper to work night shift in Fotomat's laboratory. They printed and processed pictures for the entire nation in this lab. Learning the printing and processing on the grand scale intrigued him about the photography business.
 
He purchased his first camera complete with several lenses and started taking pictures at concerts when he went with friends. Concert photos were hard to master with all the changing lights and the artists moving all over the place. Of course there was alot of trial and error and he went though a lot of film. 

Working at the lab helped because there were people there to tell him what he was doing wrong. In a short time the photos were starting to look like posters. Those photos became an instant hit, and friends started asking if they could get copies for themselves. He began taking photos free of charge for a local radio station if they would let him in to the concert for free just to hone his craft.

 Today with everything being digital its a lot easier than having to shoot with film. The end result is still the same. Remarkable concert pictures worthy of album covers and posters. He has gift to get the right shot in the available light that have artist's saying he is one of the best!
